I think so often we are just excited to share what we like with someone else - which is a good thing - but then we forget they are separate people. I guess adults can at least tell you their side of things, children just go along... which makes it all the more difficult to remember they are not us :) Thank you for commenting and reading - it makes me happy to know you enjoy reading this!!Aniahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06093124859310191719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1142420778742259252.post-79849204853387304422012-10-25T15:36:39.421-07:002012-10-25T15:36:39.421-07:00Ania, So beautiful and so important. So often, we a...Ania, So beautiful and so important. So often, we are so excited to share ourselves and our world with our children. We want so much to introduce them to all of the wonders, and maybe even to relive them ourselves through their eyes. It's so easy to forget that our children have their own timing, their own interests, their own view, and if we can just slow down a little, they can share themselves more easily, and introduce (or re-introduce) us to wonders that we may have forgotten or overlooked. I love reading your reflections. You always bring me back to center, and to a place of peace, and gently remind me of the gifts of slowing down and being present and open. Thank you. I don't know anyone who does not have to keep learning and re-learning this, and though I tend to walk away from things like this, there are always reminders. And if you're saying it's your daily path, you are already so far ahead. Thank you so much for stopping by, reading, and relating. It means a lot. Thank you for the gentle reminder that there is ALWAYS something to be seen if we only slow down, put away our goals, consider another path, and look.Christina D.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13452325429271741809noreply@blogger.com
